The option is /Zi only.

Relations

The /Zi option

• weakly implies /debug for the linker
• is weakly implied by /ZI
• is weakly implied by /Z7 for the back-end C/C++ compiler
• overrides /Z7 and /Zd, and is overridden by them
• is incompatible with /MP
• is among the prerequisites for /dlp and for /Gm

This option passes to both the front-end and back-end compilers (C1, C1XX and C2).
